Liz and her husband Brad have called Fort Atkinson home for many years, where they
enjoy life with their two Labrador retrievers, Duke and Indy. Their sons, John and David,
were baptized and confirmed at St. Peter’s during their childhood, making this faith
community a deeply rooted part of their family’s story.

Liz brings over 40 years of diverse nursing experience to her role as Parish Nurse,
including work in critical care, research, and education. Her journey has taken her from
Florida State University to Duke University Medical ICU, then across eight states as a
traveling nurse, to Landstuhl Army Hospital in Germany, and later to cardiac research at
the National Institutes of Health. In Wisconsin, she earned her master’s degree and
taught nursing at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Now, she feels truly honored to
serve at St. Peter’s community in a role that integrates health, wellness and faith.

As Parish Nurse, Liz is committed to supporting whole-person wellness—mind, body,
and spirit—through education, resources, and compassionate care. She is especially
excited to introduce the *Tiny Habits* program, a simple yet powerful approach to
lasting health changes. Liz is available during Sunday coffee hours and by appointment
at parishnurse@stpetersfort.org. She warmly invites all parishioners to be part of this
growing Health Ministry at St. Peter’s.
