Welcome!
With an extended hand and a joyful spirit we welcome you. We are blessed by your visit, and we believe God has directed our paths to intersect. We’re delighted to know you, and we’re excited to share the marvelous ways in which God’s hand is at work at St. Peter’s. We believe you will discover that our fellowship is truly a family, rich in relationships that matter. Growing together, we worship, we serve, we share in our fellowship, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you as well. Our doors are open.

You should wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Some of our members dress up, some of our members are casual and wear jeans. Some believe that since God gives us God's best, we should wear our best for God. Dress up, dress down, dress however, we will just be happy to see you here.

We believe that anyone that has been baptized can receive communion. When it is time, we come up the center isle and kneel or stand before the alter. When we receive communion, we do not dip our bread. We use a communal cup for the wine. After we part and return to our seats via the sides of our church.

St. Peter's is a block off Main Street in Fort Atkinson. From South Main, turn onto 3rd Street heading West. You should actually see the cream-colored stucco of the building from the intersection. We are on the corner of Merchants Avenue and 3rd Street. We do not have a parking lot, but there are plenty of street spots along Merchants and Third Avenue next to the church.

We strongly believe that children belong in worship. Children are not just the future of the church; they are the NOW of the church. We have "Treasure Boxes" for the children. These Treasure Boxes have activities, colors, and small trinkets for children to keep them engaged during each service. These are located by the usher.
We do have a nursery area in the lower level for any children and families that need a retiring area. Because we want kids in worship, we do not currently have nursery attendants. However, if families express a need of nursery attendants, we will work on hiring qualified staff with clean background checks right away.

Expected to? NO! Invited to? Absolutely, but only if you want to. While visitors are never expected to put money in the offering, there will be a collection plate passed during the offertory. The offertory is our opportunity to give back to God a portion of that with which God has blessed us. Whether anyone can give monetarily or not, everyone is welcome!

We now provide TV Ears for those who are hearing impaired. Please see an usher for more information. When we say everyone is welcome, we truly mean everyone!
